Google Announces Roll Out of their COVID-19 Ad Credits

Good news for Google advertisers! Google has started rolling out its COVID-19 ad credits to eligible accounts.

These ad credits, announced by Google at the end of March, provide support to small businesses feeling the pinch.

Here’s what they had to say…

We know that small and medium businesses have been facing unique challenges as a result of COVID-19, and at the same time we also understand that many of these businesses have continued to rely on Google Ads to help them reach their customers. As a gesture of support we have therefore funded eligible accounts with an ad credit to be used towards future ad spend this year. After 31st Dec 2020, this ad credit will expire and any unused portion will be removed from the account.

You will see the customer accounts where the ad credits have been applied, and the individual amounts received, in the ‘Notifications’ tab within ‘Accounts’. Filter the ‘type’ of notification to: ‘COVID-19 ad credits’ to view the list. Please read the Frequently Asked Questions for this ad credit for more information.
